Exosome Therapy
Regenerate. Renew. Restore.
A next-generation skin treatment that supports your skin's natural ability to repair from within.
Exosome therapy is an advanced regenerative treatment using nano-sized vesicles derived from human adipose tissue stem cells. These vesicles carry growth factors, peptides, and amino acids that communicate directly with your skin cells to support collagen production, barrier repair, and overall skin renewal.
At Immortal Cosmedical, I use Exomide™ Skin — a clinically developed exosome formulation from South Korea — to support skin rejuvenation. It can be applied as a standalone topical treatment or combined with microneedling and other in-clinic procedures for enhanced results.
What Is Exosome Therapy?
Exosomes are tiny vesicles naturally produced and released by cells in the body. They act as messengers between cells, transferring proteins, growth factors, and other bioactive molecules that influence how neighbouring cells behave and regenerate. Exomide™ harnesses this process using exosomes from adipose (fat) tissue stem cells, one of the most researched sources for regenerative skin applications.
Exosomes are not stem cells. They are cell-free and DNA-free, which means they cannot replicate or transform, giving them a reassuring safety profile. Exomide™ Skin contains 5 billion exosomes alongside 8 types of hyaluronic acid, 17 amino acids, 6 peptides, niacinamide, and glutathione — all working together to support your skin from within.

What to Expect
Step 1: Consultation
We'll start with a thorough consultation to assess your skin concerns and discuss your goals. I'll help determine whether exosome therapy alone or in combination with another in-clinic treatment is the right approach for you.
Step 2: The Treatment
Exomide™ is applied topically to the skin surface, or directly following microneedling or an energy-based device treatment to improve absorption. The treatment is comfortable and well-tolerated. Some mild redness or warmth may occur and generally settles within a few days.
Step 3: Your Ongoing Plan
Results develop gradually as your skin responds and regenerates. A course of 3 to 5 treatments is recommended, and I'll check in along the way to review your progress. Maintenance sessions every 3 to 6 months help sustain your results over the longer term.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is exosome therapy and how does it work?
Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles naturally produced by cells in the body. They work by transferring growth factors, proteins, and other bioactive molecules to neighbouring cells, influencing how those cells behave and regenerate. In a treatment setting, Exomide™ applies this same process topically to support skin renewal, collagen production, and barrier repair.
Are exosomes the same as stem cells?
No. Exosomes are secreted by stem cells but are not cells themselves. They are cell-free and DNA-free, meaning they cannot replicate or transform. Because their surface carries no immune markers, they are unlikely to be rejected by the body.
What skin concerns can exosome therapy help with?
Exosome therapy may help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture and pore size, reduce pigmentation and uneven skin tone, strengthen the skin barrier, and support skin recovery following other in-clinic treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
A course of 3 to 5 sessions every 3 to 4 weeks is recommended, followed by maintenance every 3 to 6 months. I'll advise on the right plan for your skin during your consultation.
Can exosome therapy be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Exosome therapy works well alongside microneedling, CO2 laser, radiofrequency, IPL, and LED light therapy. Applying exosomes immediately after these procedures can support faster recovery and improve overall results.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
Exosome therapy is generally well-tolerated with minimal downtime. Some temporary redness, warmth, or mild swelling may occur, particularly when combined with microneedling, but this typically settles within a few days.
Is exosome therapy safe?
Adipose-derived exosomes have been evaluated in toxicological testing and are considered safe for topical use with no adverse effects. Exomide™ is free from parabens, silicone, hydroquinone, retinol, formaldehyde, and essential oils.
Is Exomide™ TGA approved?
Exomide™ is a cosmeceutical product intended for topical use and does not require TGA approval, similar to other professional-grade skincare treatments. It is not classified as a medicine.
